World Boxing Cup Finals 2025 -India Bags Nine Golds

  • Event :– 13 to 20 November 2025
  • Location :- Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh).
  • History :-  It was established IBA – International Boxing Association in 1979
  • Participation :- Around 130 boxers from 18 countries participated in the event, covering various weight categories for both men and women.
  • Medal tally :- Indian boxers won a total of 20 medals, including 9 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals.
  • Significance :– India created the record of “Daily Gold Sweep” by winning 7 gold medals in a single day for the first time.

  • (57kg) won the gold by defeating Wu Shih Yi of Taipei  4-1
  • Nikhat Zareen
  • (51kg) defeated Juan Yi Guo of Chinese Taipei 5-0 to win the gold.

  • (60kg) won the gold in a tough contest, defeating Ayaka Taguchi of Japan  3-2

  • From Rajasthan (70kg) Defeated Aziza Zokirova of Uzbekistan 5-0
  • Preeti Pawar
  • (54 kg) She won the gold medal by defeating Italy’s Sirin Charabi 5-0
  • Meenakshi Hooda
  • (48 kg) Defeated Fozilova Farzona of Uzbekistan 5-0
  • Nupur Sheoran
  • (80kg) won the gold by defeating Oltinoy Sotigboeva of Uzbekistan.
  • Sachin Siwach
  • (60kg) won the gold by defeating Paris Olympics silver medallist Munarbek Seyitbek Ulu (Kyrgyzstan).
  • Hitesh Gulia
  • (70kg) won the gold medal by defeating Mursal Nurbek of Kazakhstan.

  • (80kg) lost to Oladimeji Shitt of England and won the silver medal.

2.   Abhinash Jamwal

  • (65kg) lost a close contest to Japan’s Shion Nishiyama and won the silver medal.

3.   Pawan Bartwal

  • (55kg) won a tough fight against Samandar Olimov of Uzbekistan but secured a silver medal.

4.   Jadumani Singh

  • (50kg) fought hard against Asilev Jalilov of Uzbekistan to win the silver medal.

5.   Pooja Rani – 80kg
