- History :- It was established IBA – International Boxing Association in 1979
- Participation :- Around 130 boxers from 18 countries participated in the event, covering various weight categories for both men and women.
- Medal tally :- Indian boxers won a total of 20 medals, including 9 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals.
- Significance :– India created the record of “Daily Gold Sweep” by winning 7 gold medals in a single day for the first time.
