Key Highlights:

  • Trade Growth: Steady growth in bilateral merchandise trade approximately USD 391 million during the 2025–26 fiscal year.
  • India highlighted its strong capabilities and sought enhanced cooperation in pharmaceuticals, digital technologies, manufacturing, and innovation.

  • Costa Rica provided an overview of the Central American trade integration regime and its regional trade negotiation experiences.

JETCO: The Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) is a bilateral government-to-government forum established between countries to review trade and investment relations, reduce market barriers, and identify avenues for economic cooperation.
