Objectives:

The Games aim to identify, nurture and promote sporting talent among tribal youth and strengthen grassroots sports under the Khelo India programme.

The Games serve as a platform for talent identification, with a dedicated Talent Identification and Development Committee (TIDC) deployed to scout promising athletes for further training and development under the Khelo India framework.

Sports build discipline, confidence and teamwork while also fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose

Organisers: The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Sports Authority of India (SAI), Indian Olympic Association, National Sports Federations, and the Chhattisgarh Government.

Participations: Over 60,000 athletes from 30 states and UTs played for 338 medals in the Games.
