- Terahertz (THz) Testbed- Approved under the Digital Bharat Nidhi (formerly USOF) via the Telecom Technology Development Fund (TTDF). Established at SAMEER, Kolkata to demonstrate high data rate Line-of-Sight links.
- ITU Global Standard Positioning- India successfully persuaded the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under the IMT-2030 framework to adopt "Ubiquitous Connectivity" as one of the six main usage scenarios, alongside coverage, interoperability, and sustainability.

A. Spectrum Roadmap Strategy- The DoT and B6GA jointly unveiled the Spectrum Roadmap for 6G in India, analyzing high-frequency spectrum allocation and sub-THz co-existence

- Bridging the Digital Divide- Integrated satellite-terrestrial networks ensure zero-coverage gaps across difficult topographies like the Northeast, Ladakh, and island territories.
- Enabling Next-Gen Tech- Supports mission-critical applications including remote robotic surgeries, autonomous transport networks, real-time holographic communications, and tactile internet.
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Telecom- Prevents foreign vendor lock-in by designing local chipsets, System-on-Chips (SoCs), and open-standard RAN equipment natively.
