- India's first cooperative-based ride-hailing app, launched by Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. It is described as the world's biggest driver-owned mobility platform.
- It is operated by Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Ltd, a multi-state cooperative society registered under the MSCS Act 2002(Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002). The zero-commission model means drivers get full earnings from each ride, and profits of the cooperative are distributed directly to drivers.
Key features:
- Zero commission rides, transparent fares with no hidden charges, no surge pricing, and payments via UPI or cash. Ride options include auto, bike, cab economy, sedan, and XL.
- Drivers — called "Sarathis" — get health and accident insurance, retirement savings, and can work on other platforms without exclusivity clauses.
- Ownership :- Drivers become co-owners of the platform and they get stack holding.
- Digital integration :- Uses DigiLocker, UMANG, and API Setu for verification and services.
