- Objective: Its primary goal is to measure the depth and effectiveness of existing e-Governance service delivery mechanisms from the citizen's perspective.
Key Features of the NeSDA 2025 Cycle -
1. Sectors: It covers Government-to-Citizen (G2C) and Government-to-Business (G2B) services across key sectors such as Finance, Labour & Employment, Education, Local Governance & Utility Services, Social Welfare, Environment, Tourism, and Public Grievance.
2. Service Coverage: The assessment will cover 59 mandatory services for every State and Union Territory, and 43 services covering Central Ministries and Departments.

- The framework evaluates digital governance based on multiple parameters, including:
- Accessibility and Content Availability.
- Ease of Use.
- Information Security and Privacy.
- End Service Delivery and Integrated Service Delivery.
