1) Egalitarian Social Order
The Preamble’s idea of social justice aims to create an egalitarian society free from discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or place of birth.

It guarantees equality of status and opportunity through the Right to Equality under Articles 14–18.
3) Judicial Support to Social Justice
In Indra Sawhney v. Union of India (1992), the Supreme Court upheld reservation for backward classes and introduced the creamy layer principle, strengthening social justice.
In State of Karnataka v. Appa Balu Ingale (1995), the Court strictly enforced Article 17 and condemned untouchability, protecting the dignity of weaker sections.
